ECM Services Developer
The ECM Services Developer is primarily responsible for implementing and customizing Enterprise Content Management solutions as part of the ECM Services Team. The ECM Services Developer will play a critical role in the success of each project and will be able to apply their problem-solving, computer programming and overall architecture design skills to this important role.
Requirements
- B.A./B.S. in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- MCSD, MCAD or MCDBA
- Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle skills
- Experience in coding with Visual Basic (VB), Visual Basic.NET (VB.NET) or C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML and AJAX
- Experience working with Microsoft IIS and Active Directory
- Experience with Web Services and SOA applications and practices
- 3-5 years experience working with above tools
- Ability to travel 3-5 days a week, and overnight travel 20-25% of time
Preferred
- Experience working in the Enterprise Content Management industry
- Experience with Hyland Software’s OnBase (preferably as an OnBase Certified Installer (OCI) or Workflow Engineer)
- Experience with Kofax Capture and/or Advanced Capture products (INDICIUS, Xtrata Pro or Ascent for Invoices)
- Certified Document Imaging Architech (CDIA+) or Enterprise Content Manager Practioner (ECMp)
- Experience working with Workflow or Business Process Management tools
Skills Desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication - You’ll use these skills to correspond with project teams (internal and external) on the status of the various tasks and to further refine stated requirements, as well as documenting solutions and create training documents.
- Ability to perform requirements analysis and work with clients to create a solution design - You’ll use these skills to assist our customers in defining their business requirements and then consequently translate those requirements into a technical specification or blueprint.
- Work effectively with all levels of client personnel - You’ll need these skills while you work with various levels of end-users – all the way from a mail room clerk to the CEO – at our client sites.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills - You’ll need these skills to keep projects on track when you encounter a challenge in the development or configuration of software and to assist in supporting our end-users.
- Strong interpersonal skills - You’ll be working on multiple projects, each with their own deadlines, while working with various groups of users. Your interpersonal skills will be required to keep you sane and keep you going.
- Creativity - You’ll need creativity to think outside the box from time-to-time about how best to explain, design or revise a solution.
