Hyland Software Named a Market Leader in Document Management for Banking Industry by Celent

Report cites business process efficiencies, customer service, compliance as key drivers for document management technology adoption for banks of all sizes

Cleveland, OH December 6, 2006 – Hyland Software Inc., developer of the OnBase® enterprise content management (ECM) software suite, announced that Celent, an international strategy consultancy for financial institutions, has listed Hyland Software as an industry leader in document management in its recent report, entitled “Document Management in Banking: Overview and Solution Spectrum”.

The report evaluates the current state of document management in the banking industry and divides document management providers and their technology into two categories: document creation and document handling. Hyland Software was named a market leader in the document handling technology category, which is defined as solutions that include the functionality for “image capture, routing, management, storage, indexing, retrieval and delivery of documents containing the information needed to provision banking products and communicate with customers.”
