Security MicroImaging Commemorates World Environment Day by Hosting Open House & Hardware Day Event

Milwaukee, WI May 16, 2006 – Security MicroImaging has joined forces with a vast number of organizations that are achieving enhanced natural resource conservation. Leading organizations are stepping up, taking responsibility for their actions, and encouraging their peers to follow suit to save our valuable resources.

In commemoration of World Environment Day, Security MicroImaging welcomes the commercial public to its Open House & Hardware Day event, Thursday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Various manufacturers, including Böwe Bell + Howell, Fujitsu, Kodak, Kofax, and Rimage will showcase the latest innovations in VirtualReScan (VRS) technology, scanner, and CD/DVD authoring and publishing equipment.  Guests will gain insight about the most innovative methods available in order to achieve improved environmental conservation – all while also resulting in enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.  Corporate tours, hors d’ouerves, and beverages will also be available.

World Environment Day’s focus is on people making a commitment to change their behavior. According to Environment Agency, “Small promises make a big difference.”  Making little changes can have a big effect if everyone does it.   “It’s inevitable that all businesses will eventually choose some level of digital document management over the old-school paper filing system,” states Joseph Rezell, vice president of Security MicroImaging.  “It is just a matter of timing.”
