Hyland Software Government Solutions Receive Honors at AIIM On Demand 2007

CLEVELAND - May 31, 2007 - Hyland Software Inc. is proud to announce its recent successes at AIIM On Demand in Boston.
In addition to vertical honors, OnBase government customer, Marion County Health Department won the 2007 Carl E. Nelson Best Practices award for the medium company category.

The Carl E. Nelson Best Practices Award recognizes excellence in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) field. This award provides an exciting and unique way for end user organizations to share their ECM project implementations with their peers and for ECM solution providers to showcase the ROI that their solutions can achieve.

“It is an honor to be recognized for our solution. Our goal to improve our business practice and achieve customer and employee satisfaction has reached exemplary levels.  We have used ECM technology to give our community the service they expect and deserve,” explained Julie Bishop, administrator of Vital Statistics in the Marion County Health Department.

“The quality of the submissions each year continues to improve raising the bar on best practices," said John Mancini, President, AIIM. "Each of the finalists share many valuable lessons learned to help others with their implementations."

Hyland Software’s Government Solutions were finalists as the 2007 Industry ACE Awards given by ECM Connection, a provider of online ECM news. These nominations were judged by a panel of industry analysts and editors; the ACE designation honors noteworthy achievements in specific industries across all three criteria: appeal, content, and education. Winners are selected for their innovative, feature-rich product lines, valuable information resources offered and outstanding outreach programs and services.

“With ECM technology being successfully adopted in so many governmental processes and departments throughout the country, being recognized for Marion County's solution in this category highlights Hyland's progressive stance in providing focused solutions that serve the needs of state and local government,” stated Mike Bilardo, director of Government Solutions at Hyland Software.
