Security MicroImaging Announces the Official Resease of Hyland Software's OnBase 6.2

Milwaukee, WI October 23, 2006 – Security MicroImaging announces the official release of Hyland Software’s OnBase 6.2.  With this latest version of OnBase, Hyland continues to round out its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) product suite with new functionality and enhancements to the core document management capabilities. These modifications support compliance efforts and offer new options for specific vertical markets.

OnBase 6.2, the most advanced edition of the software yet, features innovative functionality in addition to many new product modules including integrations with Microsoft® InfoPath®, Oracle® E-Business Suite and the PFU TimeStamp Service.  Acting on the requests from customers and industry experts and understanding the demand for vertically based solutions, OnBase 6.2 meets, and in many cases, exceeds these demands.
Other new features available with OnBase 6.2 include:

• Business Rules Engine is designed to give management control over the business rules, allowing them to adjust their workflow processing as their business changes and provide the ability to create multiple sets of rules that can be invoked by management. It also allows shift supervisors to adjust parameters to ensure operational efficiency and meeting tactical goals.
• The Integration for PFU TimeStamp Service enables users to ensure their documents remain authentic as the first time they were imported by attaching digital and unalterable TimeStamps at the time and date of creation.
• The Document Composition for Microsoft® Word automates the dynamic generation of Microsoft Word documents from OnBase, based on configurable Word templates.
  Document Composition dynamically compiles data from user input and external data sources into the final document.
• The Integration for Microsoft® InfoPath™ will submit the XML data into OnBase.  The form can also have multiple connectors so the data can be inserted into a line of business application and archived into OnBase at the same time, without dependency on the user.
• The Image Document Composition allows a user to create a TIF image template to then dynamically compile data from user input and external data sources into the final image document. OnBase data, including E-Form data, document keywords, document properties, WorkView values, template fragments and image documents can also be a part of the final document.
• The Chart Release of Information module allows medical records departments to process requests for medical records. The module performs accounting actions including creating invoices for fees, reports on revenues received and outstanding accounts. By tracking when each document was released and to whom, the Release of Information module also assists in HIPAA compliance.
