Kofax Recognized by Nation's Largest Technology Association for Innovation - Kofax Intelligent Capture & Exchange Wins AeA's 2007 High-Tech Innovation Award
IRVINE, Calif., May 22, 2007 – Kofax, the world’s largest information capture vendor, today announced that the company has been honored by the AeA Orange County & Inland Empire Council for its innovative Intelligent Capture & Exchange, the centerpiece of the company’s strategic initiative to enable organizations to streamline business processes by shifting the capture of information from a centralized back-office process to an everyday front-office activity.
“We are pleased that the AeA selected Intelligent Capture & Exchange as the winner for this year’s High-Tech Innovation Award, especially given the high number of nominees under consideration this year,” said Rob Klatell, chief executive officer of Kofax’s parent company, DICOM Group. “Being recognized by a leading technology association provides further validation that our strategic Intelligent Capture & Exchange initiative is successfully helping to automate the capture of information and streamline key business processes."
Intelligent Capture & Exchange leverages industry leading scanning technology and the Web to enable organizations to operate faster, improve customer satisfaction, and more efficiently meet regulatory compliance requirements by capturing documents in the front office, where they originate, and moving them in real time to transactional business processes.
“AeA received a record number of nominations this year and the level of innovation was truly impressive,” said Tim Jemal, AeA executive director for Orange County and the Inland Empire. “AeA congratulates Kofax on its remarkable technological innovation, which is fundamentally changing the way information is managed.”
The 14th Annual High-Tech Innovation Awards were presented at the Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach on May 10, 2007. More than 125 nominations were received, with 20 innovators recognized.
