Security MicroImaging Nominated for Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Award

Milwaukee, WI February 14, 2006 - Security MicroImaging has been nominated for the Wisconsin Family Business of the Year Award.  Family owned businesses are recognized and honored through this awards program for their commitment to the community and contributions to their industry.

Security MicroImaging been formally recognized as a solid contributor to both the community and the industry throughout its 35+ years in business.  Security MicroImaging’s primary role is to encourage businesses to reduce the vast amount of paperwork entailed in daily administrative processing in order to serve as environmentally-conscious companies.  By applying Security MicroImaging’s business practices, clients achieve a reduction in paper and waste in addition to streamlined operations conducive to enhanced productivity and profitability.

Security MicroImaging has enjoyed sharing their success with the community as they have achieved consistent growth throughout the years under the direction of both the first and the second generations of family.  Suzanne and Dick Buerger, the first generation owners, consistently contributed to Sojourner Truth House, Marquette University, and other non-profit entities.  Under the second generation’s ownership, Security MicroImaging sponsors youth sports teams and key employees serve in various leadership roles within industry affiliations.

Smith & Gesteland, joined with Associated Bank and Dewitt Ross & Stevens, are co-sponsoring this third annual event to celebrate family business.  Awards will be presented at a banquet on April 27, 2006 at the Marriott West Hotel in Middleton.
