Security MicroImaging Selected by Sister of St. Francis Health Services to Integrate Document Management Solutions

Milwaukee, WI April 11, 2006 – Security MicroImaging has been awarded a contract totaling $425,000+ to develop and integrate a document management system for Sisters of St. Francis Health Services, Inc. (SSFHS).  As a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management, Security MicroImaging has chosen to implement Hyland Software’s OnBase, coupled with Kofax Image Products’ Ascent software into SSFHS’ daily accounts payable operations to streamline costs, enhance productivity, and increase compliance.

Security MicroImaging selected OnBase for SSFHS based on Hyland’s exclusive endorsement from the American Hospital Association (AHA) for its Integrated Document Management system that helps improve revenue cycle management and back office operations.   After nearly a year of evaluation, AHA selected Hyland Software and OnBase Healthcare solutions because of their health care expertise, product functionality and horizontal experience that bring best practices knowledge from other industries into the hospital environment.  Also key to the decision is the product's scaleable and modular architecture that enables hospitals to deploy solutions at the department and enterprise-level.  Hospitals can select functionality that suits their needs today but allows them to expand incrementally and to cost-effectively expand and enhance the system as needs grow.

SSFHS is an Indiana-Illinois based Catholic healthcare network of 12 facilities that provide a broad range of acute care services with links to other levels of care, community health, and high quality cost-effective care.  According to SSFHS, “Our vision of shared sponsorship involves collaborative relationships, partnerships, joint ventures, and other means by which we work closely with others who share our mission and values.”

Security MicroImaging looks forward to developing and maintaining a successful, long-term business relationship with SSFHS to help them achieve maximized operational effectiveness.
