Security MicroImaging's Suzanne Buerger Formally Announces Retirement After 21 Years of Ownership and Executive Roles

Milwaukee, WI November 23, 2005 – Suzanne Buerger, current Vice President and Board Member of Security MicroImaging Corporation, has formally announced her retirement date of December 30, 2005.   She has served as an integral part of Security MicroImaging’s daily operations and business growth since she and her husband, Dick, acquired the company in 1984.  Much has transformed since then including a company name change, a major addition of products and services, a significant expansion of staff, and relocation to a much larger facility in Schlitz Park’s RiverCenter.

Originally, Security MicroImaging Corporation was known as Security Microfilm Corporation and exclusively served as a microfilm processor and distributor.  As technology evolved over the past 10 years, Suzanne and her staff strategically transformed and expanded SMC to also serve as an advanced enterprise content management and workflow provider.

Suzanne’s roles within the company have included Human Resources Director, Vice President, President, and Board Member. Her primary contributions revolved around managing human resources activities but also are highlighted by her role in securing a successful facilities management contract with a local insurance provider.  Suzanne will be missed greatly by SMC staff, vendors, and clients.
